After ensuring that the bricks are dried to the required level, they are taken to the kiln or Heat chamber in which the bricks will be kept for about 2 days.
The Kiln consists of an oval structure (outer wall) made of bricks of 3 ft width and 10 ft height. Inner wall with flue channel is 204 ft long, 9 ft wide and 10 ft high.
The bricks are fired in a bull trench kiln with high temperature over 1000 degrees Celsius using coal and then cooled. Firing hardens and strengthens the brick
